Rose Maude-Harriet and Jamie LF Straessler started with a passion. How can we provide the very best mental health services to children in rural Wyoming? Following years of intense training and supervision, they co-founded the Counseling and Play Therapy Center in 2006. A specialized playroom designed with specific toys allows children to express their trauma, anxieties, depression, and other issues affecting their lives. This expanded into years of training in Jungian-Kalffian Sandplay Therapy, a treatment modality rarely found in rural areas.

Armed with experience, compassion, and a belief that ALL children will heal, they have expanded into teaching and supervising other clinicians. Their teaching business, The Play Therapy Training Institute of Wyoming, reaches clinicians and children in the United States and internationally.
